Site 10 - Revetment with Aircraft Parts
Again, we pulled over on the side of the road...
...and disappeared into the jungle (there are 3 people within 10 meters of the camera)...
...and popped into a revetment. This one was much more open than the revetment that contained the Tabby.
There were no complete planes...
..but parts were scattered all over the place
Everywhere you looked.
A wing here...
... a wing there.
This one was on a landing gear.
An engine over here.
If you looked closely into the brush you would often find many smaller parts.
A wing panel with a gear folded up in it.
Remains of a Zero canopy.
Another wing panel.
It seemed every time we turned around, we saw airplane parts.
