Additional responsibilities may include: entering data into a computer database of aircraft accidents, organizing accident reports and accident photos.
Basic computer skills, a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, and with WWII and Korean War aircraft, are a plus.
10-20 hours per week expected, more available depending on current projects.
Schedule very flexible: great opportunity for a student. Must be able to come into AAIR's office to work located in Phoenix near Baseline & 15th Ave.
1) Volunteer Indexer
AAIR is looking for volunteers to assist with the databases. While these databases already contain tens of thousands of records, they are far from complete! We need volunteers to assist by going through the microfilm and entering the information into a spreadsheet. To assist, volunteers must have Excel and a microfilm or fiche viewer which can be found on eBay for about $25.
2) Office Assistant
AAIR is always interested in hearing from anyone willing to help out in the office. From organizing reports to scanning and filing photos, there is always something that needs to be done.
If interested in any of these positions please e-mail us.
