The wonderful typical vegetation of the California coastal mountains.
It gets so dense in some places that you can hardly see the person in front of you.
Some places had good tunnels under the brush that jackrabbits have cleared.
Disappearing into the brush again.
And another comes out of the tunnel.
Did I mention it was steep? Not that I am complaining.
The first wreckage is finally spotted through the brush.
